Our strength is our understanding that there is no such thing as a typical event. Every event needs to be tailor made for the audience, the message and the delivery. 
 
Our events team has over 12 years industry experience in managing events and we recognise that planning, understanding and the ability to work side-by-side with our clients is key to developing events that exceed the client’s requirements and the expectations of the audience.
 
To be a good event manager you have to know how to run an event, to be a great event manager you also have to fully understand, and be competent to deliver, the message that the client team are trying to promote. 
 
Glimmer Event Management can offer a holistic Event Management Service incorporating all of the components below, however we can also provide any of these services on a standalone basis.

Event Management Services
 
Client management – client liaison is key to every successful event and therefore we recognise the importance of providing one designated Event Manager to supervise the event and communicate with the client project manager / team. 
 
 
Budget management – we will work with the Project Manager to formulate a comprehensive event budget and ensure it is correctly administrated from planning through to reconciliation in order to secure a financially successful event. 
 
 
Venue sourcing – we are happy to utilise our industry contacts and extensive venue knowledge to secure you the best possible venue at competitive rates. We have a wealth of experience in fitting the right venue to the right event and using our negotiating skills to get the right rates.
 
 
Venue management – we will manage all liaisons with the selected venue to ensure every aspect of the event is accurately managed and implemented including catering, room configurations and other special requirements.
 
 
Design and print – we have fantastic relationships with skilled concept development and design teams who are able to create all of your event’s promotional needs. The design process begins by presenting the clients with initial themeing and logo concepts which will be used as the branding for the event. Once this is confirmed, we move on to all print required items including date claimers, marketing brochures, registration documents, advertisements, event handbooks and proceedings.
 
 
Website management – we can host, develop and maintain your event website to provide you with an essential and versatile marketing tool. Websites can be tailored to individual events, offering an excellent means of communication with your potential audience. The website can be used as a platform for online expressions of interest, registration, abstract submissions and other interactive systems.
 
 
Program development – we will use our industry experience to work with you to develop a comprehensive and topical program. We have extensive experience in designing programs to suit the event objectives while still ensuring that delegates are engaged and actively participating.
 
 
Speaker  / entertainment acquisition and management – we will work with you to identify, source and secure the appropriate speakers / entertainers for the target audience and event program. We will then manage all aspects of your speakers’ / entertainers requirements including flights, accommodation, payments / reimbursements, audio visual needs and briefings.
 
 
Social program development – we understand that networking is a significant side to any event and we have a wealth of experience designing exciting themed dinners, welcome receptions, entertainment and group activities. 
 
 
Sponsorship – we are happy to manage all aspects of sourcing and securing sponsorship. Our involvement will include proposal development, targeted marketing calls, managing bookings, liaising with nominated contacts and on the day management of sponsors and exhibitors to ensure they have a worthwhile experience.
 
 
Exhibition management – alongside sponsorship, we manage all exhibition related aspects to your event including pre conference communication with the sponsors regarding their exhibition participation, venue and supplier management, and a dedicated onsite staff member to assist the exhibitors during the set up and pack down. We understand that the exhibition is a networking hub and the sponsors who attend are a crucial part of a successful event.
 
 
Delegate/registration management – we will cover every aspect of communication with your audience, from event marketing and audience acquisition through to helpline support, creation of registration documents, managing registrations, processing payments / reimbursements, providing pre-event information, on-site registration facilities and full conference logistics.
 
 
Travel & accommodation management – we will use our industry contacts to book appropriate accommodation and travel services at negotiated rates. Our event database will ensure that all bookings are accurate, regularly updated and confirmed to the individual and the relevant travel and accommodation suppliers.
 
 
Database management – we can create event specific databases to meet the individual criteria of each event. All data is subject to our confidentiality and data protection procedures.
 
 
Audio visual production management – we will work closely with the chosen supplier to ensure that the budget is met and the event is complimented by the audio visual production.
 
 
Logistics management – we will design an intricate schedule for people movement, time management, venue management, catering and supplier liaison to ensure all of the hard work is done prior to the event so you can enjoy being at the event. Our team understands that planning combined with a detailed understanding of the venue and event program are essential to manage the logistical challenges of any event.
 
 
Evaluation & analysis – we can design an effective evaluation form to gather the most relevant feedback from your event. The date will be analyse to produce an event report which can be used as a vital planning tool for future events.
